Why I became a dog trainer in Vienna:

I chose to become a dog trainer because this profession combines my passion for dogs with professional training and gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. During my education, I learned how to analyse behaviour professionally and develop training approaches that are clear, practical and tailored to each individual human-dog team.

Working outdoors – in meadows, along forest paths or at the training grounds – feels completely natural to me and gives me the calm and clarity I need for effective training. What touches me most is seeing dog owners realise how much easier everyday life can become and how quickly progress is possible when training is understandable and individually adapted.

These moments remind me why I chose this path: to support people and their dogs with expertise, patience and genuine enthusiasm as they grow together.

Area of application: Wien

What I love about this profession:

I’m fascinated by the diversity of dogs – their individual personalities, abilities and often remarkable intuition. Every human-dog team has its own story and unique dynamic, and that is exactly what makes my work so rewarding.

It takes sensitivity and genuine understanding to support both sides in a meaningful way. For me, it’s not only about obedience, but also about making sure the training journey feels right for you and helps strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
